Available position in the manufacturing lab in Shell Seraya Chemicals Pte Ltd. The position is based in Jurong Island and 12hrs shift based. The main job scope is as follows.
To carry out, in day time non routine tests, validation of laboratory instruments and equipment, and preparation of chemicals in the Manufacturing Laboratory (Mfg Lab).
He is responsible for:
· Carrying out testing of all types of samples that are received in the laboratory
· Ensuring proper recording and/or recording test results of samples in the worksheets and Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
· Ensuring that samples received are properly recorded and labeled and that tests are carried out as efficiently as possible
· Preparing chemical reagents where necessary
· Assisting in the calibration and maintenance of instruments
· Setting up and monitoring of statistical quality checks of test methods and instruments
