Technical Officer (Material/ Mechanical Testing) (Training provided!)

Responsibilities


·        Conduct testing on construction materials in laboratory and site environment

·        Generate reports on test results

·        Liaise with inter-departments regarding reports and test requirements

·        Any other ad-hoc assignments as assigned


Requirements


·        Nitec/Diploma in Material Engineering/ Material Science/ Mechanical or other relevant disciplines

·        No experience required as training will be provided

·        Display good communication skills and a team player mindset

·        Class 3 driving license preferred (Optional)



Technical Officer (Environment Lab) (Training provided)


Responsibilities:


·        Perform laboratory test on environmental samples and reporting of test data.

·        To prepare and upkeep quality system as per SAC-Singlas requirement.

·        Ensure proper equipment performance and test data reliability by carrying out routine QAQC protocols and scheduled Preventive Maintenance as needed.

·        Involve in planning and work distribution.



Requirement:


·        Diploma in Chemical Process Technology/ Chemical Engineering or any related field.

·        Prior relevant working experience in laboratory work will be advantageous. For candidates with no experience, training will be provided.

·        Hands-on experience in analytical instruments' operation, maintenance and troubleshooting is advantageous; especially chromatographic and spectroscopic.

·        Independent, strong analytical knowledge and good interpersonal skills.

·        Willing to work shift and overtime if required


Technician/ Technical Officer (Food Testing) (Tuas) (Training provided!)

Job description

·        Conduct basic and chemical tests on test samples

·        Ensure smooth delivery of test samples (Tuas)

·        Responsible for quality control, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting

·        Assist in the maintenance and improvement of the laboratory quality system

·        Other ad-hoc duties as assigned



Requirements


·        GCE “O” Level/ Nitec/ Diploma in Chemical Process/ Chemistry/ Food Science  

·        No experience required as training will be provided

·        Possess Class 3 License

·        Display positive attitude and a team player mindset

·        Open to work overtime or Saturdays


CHEMIST/ ASST. CHEMIST x 2(Environment Lab) (Training provided)


Responsibilities:


·        Perform Lab test on environmental samples and reporting of test data.

·        Supervise junior analysts in routine sample analysis to ensure accurate and reliable analytical results.

·        To prepare and upkeep quality system as per SAC-Singlas requirement.

·        Ensure proper equipment performance and test data reliability by carrying out routine QAQC protocols and scheduled Preventive Maintenance as needed.

·        Involve in planning and work distribution.



Requirement:


·        Degree in Chemistry or related field.

·        1 – 2 years relevant working experience in laboratory work. For candidates with no experience, training will be provided.

·        Hands-on experience in analytical instruments' operation, maintenance and troubleshooting is advantageous; especially chromatographic and spectroscopic.

·        Preferable those familiar with quality systems (SAC-Singlas and ISO Guide 17025).
·        Independent, strong analytical knowledge and good interpersonal skills.
