1.0 General Description

Inhalation analytical chemists/technicians develop, validate and conduct
HPLC, GC analyses on Inhalation Drug Delivery

formulations and drug products, including product clearance through Phase
3. They

generate and monitor stability data to support formulation, process
development and

clinical studies.

2.0 Typical Activities

2.1 Conduct analyses to support formulation development

2.2 Develop, validate and cross-over assays

2.3 Perform evaluation of samples in support of:

2.3.1 Stability

2.3.2 Design of Experiment

2.3.3 Process and Product Understanding

2.3.4 Solubility

2.3.5 Etc.

2.4 Develop and validate cleaning verification analyses

2.5 Create formal method documents and validation protocols and summarize
data in

technical reports
