FAQs for DACP Option/elective selection

1. Is the opting of the electives a first come first seved basis? If not what is it based on?
   
   As explained by Dr Soh during the briefing, the option/elective selecction is NOT based on first-come-first-serve AS LONG AS you submit your selection within the stipulated period.
   
   Selection is on a random basis.
2. Are we able to change our ranking of choice after we submit our applicaton on SAS before the deadline?
   
   Yes, you can change your selection anytime within the stipulated period.

Laboratory Technician

·         Perform routine analysis of food samples by GC/GCMS

·         Assist on new method implementation

·         Participate in other daily lab activities, including equipment maintenance, housekeeping, audit, calibration etc.

·         Prepares and verifies test reports prior to submission to the Lab Head.

·         Provides training for visitors and students.

·         Ensures good housekeeping/Good Lab Practices in the laboratories.

·         Willing to work in lab

·         Positive Attitude

·         Diploma in chemistry or relevant

·         Experience with GC/GCMS instrument an added advantage
