Scientific Support Specialist (Consumer Goods Industry)
Position Summary:
The candidate shall have some basic experience (practical or academic) in scientific laboratory work running routine validated test methodologies and be able to perform data analysis all under good manufacturing practices.
Essential Functions:
Qualify for and perform routine validated test methodologies and grading on finished products as directed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and organization's safety and quality requirements
Logistics preparation for technical study - calibration of equipment, documentation preparation and set-up measurement room
Tabulate, process and submission of technical study data to work request management and submission system
Replenish and track laboratory samples, consumables and reagent inventory
Perform daily laboratory housekeeping and routine basic equipment maintenance
Communicate with Team Leader and/or Supervisor on work assignments, product testing deviation, instrumentation failures/issues or any other laboratory anomalies
Conduct all assigned work in compliance with our organization's safety and quality requirements
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Possess a Diploma in Science or related disciplines
Good communication skill - able to read, write and speak English
Having prior knowledge in the use of equipment for Personal Care and Cosmetics study (Spectrometer, Cutometer, Vapometer etc.) would be an advantage.
