Laboratory Assistant – Perfumer Assistant
(Singapore – Kaki Bukit Ave 1)

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Perfumer-Assistant Supervisor:

1.    Laboratory scale precision-weighting of perfumery ingredients

2.    Preparation of Fragrance compounds sampling

Requirements:

·         Experience in similar field an advantage

·         Education: Polytechnic Diploma

• Very meticulous & responsible in the execution of work duties
• Pro-active, flexible, adaptable and a fast learner in a demanding work environment
• Positive attitude, hardworking and able to work independently and in a Team.
• Ability to start work immediately at short notice

Working hours:           8.15am - 5.25pm. 5 days work week.

 

Job Scope:

 

·         Assistant to Chemist in QC, QA functions and projects;

·         Perform tests and in-house calibrations in accordance with established methods;

·         Review data quality in accordance with established guidelines/criteria.

·         Routine analysis of ultra high purity hydrogen peroxide and ultra pure water including external analysis services;

·         QC & QA functions of production process, product and analytical results;

·         Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment;

·         Inventory control chemicals, standards and consumable materials;

·         Perform quality documentation and data management.

 

Job Requirements:

 

• Minimum Local Polytechnic - Diploma in Chemical Process Technology / Diploma in Chemical Engineering.
• Singaporean / PR .
• Able to communicate in English and Mandarin.
• 1-2 years working experience
• Good working attitude, team player, self-motivated.
• Salary negotiable depending on experience.
