Sampling Technician Job Description

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

 

Education             Min O level or  ITE in Chemical Process Technology or Mechatronic.      

                                ________________________________________________________________________

Experience          Preferably from  F&F industry  ( spray drying)   but not mandatory as training will be

Provided.  Some similar exposure to equipment such as pumps, mixer, scale and homogenizers  will be an added advantage.

Skills                      Operate equipment with HMI controls, familiar with SAP operation_________________

Sampling Team Leader Job Description

Responsibilities:

·         To manage & co-ordinate the day to day operations of the Flavor Sampling Laboratory

·         To lead and supervise a team of compounders and technicians

·         To creation Process Order in SAP system and schedule for Production base on the given priority

·         To run the daily raw material replenishment report in SAP

·         To request for missing materials both internally and through external source

·         To liaise with QC & Flavorists on resolving/troubleshooting quality/processing aspects and follow through on appropriate corrective actions.

·         To assist Compounders in resolving any formulation issue with the creator

·         To maintain multi-batch materials in the inventory by doing the necessary blending and adjustment

·         To maintain and do the necessary write off for expired materials and flavors in the laboratory inventory

·         To ensure team members comply with good safety practices and PPE requirements

·         To ensure the team members adhere to the housekeeping schedule and maintain good housekeeping standards in the laboratory.

·         To perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

·         Minimum Diploma in Chemical related field

·         Minimum 1 year experience in the field of flavor and fragrance or related food industries

·         Possess good knowledge of chemical properties, especially in the area of flavor and fragrance will be an added advantage

·         Knowledge of Lab safety and GLP

·         Good Team player

·         Able to multi-task and work under a fast moving environment

·         SAP Knowledge is preferable.
