A leading leather manufacturer listed on SGX Main board is seeking a suitably qualified individual who aspires to grow with the company for the position of:
Financial Controller
Lab Assistant
- Responsibilities
√ The incumbent will report to the Technical Manager and assist in all technical aspects of product development and quality control
√ Follow up on projects and technical trials
√ Update and housekeep records on testing chemical samples and generate compiled reports for analysis use
√ Co-ordinate job order activities including color matching, tanning quality inspection and testing sample preparation
√ Work closely and guide the production staff on new technical development and quality matters
√ Carry out day to day lab activities
- Requirements
· Minimum Diploma in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
· Experience in chemical science in manufacturing industry is advantageous
· Must be bilingual in English and Mandarin
· Proficient in MS Office
· No allergy to tanning chemical such as chrome and cross-linker, willing to do "dirty hand" work, and tolerance to tannery's smell
· No color blind and is physically fit
· Team-oriented attitude being able to proactively work with interfacing departments
· Only Singaporean and PR need to apply
· Completed National Service
