Laboratory Technician
The Job
· Manage the storage of chemical samples
· Dispense precise amounts of chemical samples for use in laboratory experiments
· Liaise with shipping companies and prepare relevant documentation for shipping
· Keep updated inventory of chemical samples
· Provide support to Scientists in the conducting of laboratory experiments
· Calibrate & maintain laboratory equipment
· Maintain housekeeping & observe safety requirements
Requirements
· Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or equivalent
· Excellent organizational skills with good attention to detail
· Able to work independently as well as in a team
· Proficiency in MS Excel and/or data management tools preferred
· Relevant experience will be an advantage
