Job Title: Operations Technician
Location: Global Manufacturing and Supply (Singapore)
Role Summary
Based at GMS Jurong / Quality Road Plant, Singapore, the successful candidate will be reporting directly to the Production Superintendent.
The Job
- Perform plant operations and control of chemical processes
- Ensure batch and operating log sheets instructions are complied to and date correctly recorded
- Carry out engineering-related work
- Inspect and maintain good housekeeping of workplace
- Communicate clearly with his superintendent and colleagues and at the end of his shift, and hand-over to this Senior Operations Technician
- Highlight production status and any items on safety, quality and efficiency
Responsibilities
Requirements
- NTC/ITC Diploma in a related discipline
- At least 2 years’ working experience in a Chemical, Refinery, Pharmaceutical or related industry. Fresh graduates with Diploma qualification are welcome to apply.
- Familiar with good manufacturing practices, safety procedures and industrial standards
- Good knowledge in maintenance and operating principles of production and utility equipment is preferred
- Able to work on 3 rotating shifts
