Opening for the following perm positions with a European MNC in the Specialist Chemical industry.

 

Singaporean or PR. Preferably with specialty chemical, paints, coatings, ink formulations experience.

Senior Chemist (Synthesis)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Participate in design of all development work for new products and the improvement of existing products, from conceptual scoping and run the bench scale experiments from laboratory to the scale up

·         Submit progress reports on all technical and laboratory activities; keep accurate technical records

·         Develop use of alternative raw materials for existing products.

·         Maintain close working relationships with Screening Labs, Production, QC, Supply Chain, and Purchasing.

 

REQUIREMENTS

·         Master /Degree in Analytical /Organic / Polymer Chemistry or close related disciplines

·         Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in operating analytical equipment and interpreting data

·         Profound knowledge in Analysis is highly preferred

·         Hands-on experience in handling analytical equipment such as GC, GPC, FTIR, DSC

·         Ability to interpret the results and passion for innovation

·         Strong technical communication skills

·         Singaporean or PR

 

Senior/Chemist (Application Development)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Participate in Design of all application evaluation work for new products and the improvement of existing products, from conceptual scoping and run the bench scale experiments in lab.

·         Submit progress reports on all technical and laboratory activities; keep accurate technical records.

·         Develop alternate test methods                                  

·         Maintain close working relationships with Synthesis Labs, Strategic Market Development Lab.

 

REQUIREMENTS

·         Master /Degree in Organic / Polymer Chemistry or close related disciplines

·         Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in paints, coatings, ink formulations is highly preferred for Senior Chemist

·         Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in paints, coatings, ink formulations is highly preferred for Chemist

·         Ability to interpret the results and passion for innovation

·         Strong interpersonal skill and communication skill

·         Singaporean or PR
