STRATEGIC ATTACHMENT & TRAINING (STRAT) PROGRAMME IN FORMULATION DEVELOPMENT
The Strategic Attachment and Training (STRAT) Programme is an initiative supported by the Economic Development Board (EDB)
to build up key manpower capabilities in Singapore’s workforce for emerging sectors and activities, through overseas
attachment and training with leading companies.
In collaboration with EDB, Procter & Gamble - Research & Development is offering 8 training places for aspiring individuals in
the areas of Formulation Development. The 2 year training programme is scheduled to commence from September 2013
onwards. Candidates will be paid a training grant for the duration of the training and will be required to serve employment in
Singapore-based companies for 2 years upon completion of the training. Candidates will also have an opportunity to be sent
overseas for training and research projects.

Job Description
• Developing & designing new formulations/chassis that meet the projects’ technical success criteria
• Understanding how new and existing technologies work and ensure they deliver on the target consumer benefits &
desired experience
• Understanding the technologies and how to integrate them with the rest of the formulation/chassis
• Working with Product Design/Formula Development Team in designing, developing, qualifying and specifying new
technologies/systems
Qualifications
• Fresh Diploma Holders in the areas of Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering/ Technology or related sciences
• Strong academic credentials with demonstrated success with academic and/or industrial projects
• Strong communication and leadership skills to perform the role with excellence and integrity, as well as provide timely results
• Singaporeans or Singapore PRs only
• Males should have completed National Service obligations
