Job Purpose:
Physical properties, Chemical properties testing and analysis of various chemicals associated with the Oil and Gas Industry.
Key Performance Area :
1) Proper sample entry and labeling of received samples.
2) Responsible for routine testing and documenting customer samples and finished goods. Timely completion of assigned task.
3) Safety of lab and safe handling and storage of chemicals.
4) Systematic documentation of data, timely calibration, verification and proper maintenance of the records.
5) Audit preparedness and accountability of non-conformance.
6) Improvement in subject knowledge, getting trained and imparting training.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1) Prepare test solutions, compounds, and reagents to conduct various tests. Recalibration of equipment.
2) Analyze samples for Routine and non-routine tests as per requirement for Sales / Service Engineer.
3) To determine chemical and physical properties of Dorf Ketal Chemical Samples.
4) Compile and analyze test information to determine process or equipment operating efficiency and to diagnose malfunctions.
5) Confer and work with engineers and managers to conduct analysis of research projects, interpret test results, or develop nonstandard tests.
6) Direct, coordinate, and advise personnel in test procedures for analyzing components and physical properties of materials.
7) On field lab testing at satellite lab and customer site, data collation, reporting the data.
8) Comply with ISO Procedures for Lab testing, Documentation and Safety Policy.
9) Maintain proper stock records for Solvents, Chemicals and Glassware / equipment.
10) Co-ordinate with 3rd Party Labs for additional testing. Also co-ordinate for sample courier activity.
Skills/Qualifications/Experience:
· Skills in analytical chemistry. Fresher in Chemistry background (Diploma or Graduate) or Life Sciences is acceptable.
· Technical & technological skills
· Using Microsoft Office Applications.
· Good Analytical Mind
· Fluent in English Language
